Abyss

Astrophyllite is a unique and rare gemstone.  This stone is very dark, with flashes of cranberry colored light from within.  Astrophyllite is thought to direct light into the deepest recesses of your being.  This one-of-a-kind pendant is crafted in sterling silver and gemstones - Astrophyllite (n. from Russia) and a faceted Rhodolite Garnet (n).  Astrophyllite is a VERY soft stone, 3-4 mohs scale hardness, so should be treated with care.  It has some natural horizontal fissures which do not affect the stability of the stone, and should be oiled occasionally to reduce visibility.
